Why beer doesn’t slosh as much as water


 

Ever notice how, no matter how many beers you’ve had, you never really slosh any over the sides of the glass by accident? Although some might like to believe this happens because they never leave their glass very full, there’s actually a better reason. According to Smithsonian.com, new research shows that the layer of foam on top of your brew is dampening the sloshing effect.
