A summer program puts kids in charge of the classroom
A summer program in Brooklyn turned high school students into teachers for a chance to give lessons in STEM subjects to younger kids. Dozens of students from across the city gathered at NYU Tandon in Downtown Brooklyn for their Creativity in Engineering, Science, and Technology, or CrEST, program. The free week long session introduced middle school students to robotics, circuity, and other STEM disciplines.
