Students Put Their Hacking Skills to the Test at Contest

Hundreds of students put their cyber skills to the test at a hacking competition. The contest is part of 'Cyber Security Awareness Week' at NYU's Tandon School of Engineering. The 3-day hackathon includes six competitions where students work to break through different security walls. Many of the hacking challenges are interactive. One of them requires participants to solve a digital murder mystery by cracking codes online. The event also included a career fair where students had the opportunity to meet with potential employers.
