Dan Guido, co-founder and CEO of security firm Trail of Bits, earned his bachelor’s degree in computer science from NYU Polytechnic (now NYU Tandon School of Engineering). He was also an adjunct professor of computer science and hacker in residence at NYU Tandon.
Science Inc. today announced an undisclosed investment in decentralized IT security marketplace PolySwarm. … Its most recent investment, PolySwarm, is the first decentralized marketplace where security experts are incentivized to build anti-malware engines that compete to protect against threats. … PolySwarm’s advisory board includes former McAfee CIO Mark Tonnesen, alongside renowned information security and blockchain experts Dan Guido, Chris Eagle, Dr. Sergey Bratus, and Carl Hoffman.
