A Red Hook Startup is Engineering the Final Step in Autonomous Vehicles

HEVO wants cars to be able to charge themselves. CEO Jeremy McCool explains.

After a long day of picking people up and dropping them off, an autonomous electric car will need to go back to its home base and recharge. ut that means that a real live human will have to plug it in (or put gasoline in it). But a Red Hook startup led by a former Army captain is making technology so that the car will be able to wirelessly charge itself. True autonomy.

Jeremy McCool got back from a 15-month tour in Baghdad in 2008.
