Professor Jonathan Viventi on What It Means to Be 'Brilliant'

Jonathan Viventi, assistant professor of electrical and computer engineering at the NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering, was recently named to the MIT Technology Review's annual Innovators Under 35 list as well as Popular Science's "Brilliant Ten of 2014." In this video, he describes how he moved from developing wireless technologies for cellphones to building devices that can interface with the brain to control "smart" hearing aids and prosthetic limbs.
