NYU Receives DHS Automotive Cyber Research Grant; Reginald Brothers Comments


New York University has received a $1.4 million grant award from the Department of Homeland Security’s science and technology directorate to develop cybersecurity tools for automobiles.

Led by Prof. Justin Cappos, the NY team plans to develop an update system for software in road vehicles, DHS said Tuesday.

The project aims to help the government and private vehicle owners address cyber attacks.
