NYU Gets Coveted Job to Host the First Publicly Funded VR/AR Facility


The de Blasio Administration of New York City has announced that the NYU Tandon School of Engineering will be hosting the country's first publicly funded VR/AR facility. … The school was chosen out of many institutions in the running because of its innovations in the world of science and technology as well as the merit of the students they have helped to shape. NYU has already developed many VR projects, making them an ideal candidate for a facility that is to be the hub of NYC AR/VR development.
