New York Today: Outdoor Gaming


Even if you don’t consider yourself a gamer, you’ve probably heard about Pokémon Go.

The game can be a great way to tour New York City. (Here are some suggestions on making the most of it.)

But it isn’t the only outdoor game in town.

On Friday and Saturday in Times Square, you can play games created by students at Magnet, the Media and Games Network, at New York University.

They were designed for Times Square’s multilingual and multicultural audience, and they take into account the unique challenges of the crossroads of the world.
