The New WhatsApp Encryption

The popular messaging WhatsApp, has begun encrypting all communication for its more than 1 billion users. Starting this week, WhatsApp says no one will be able to eavesdrop on any of the messages sent via its service. Not the government, not hackers not even WhatsApp. I talked to Justin Cappos, a computer security expert at NYU about how the encryption works and what it means.
