A bill to regulate the increasingly dangerous construction industry, which has become a political quagmire in City Hall, will defer several thorny issues to a new task force, according to a copy of the legislation obtained by POLITICO. … Meanwhile the Building Trades Employers’ Association announced it adopted a “Zero Tolerance Safety” management policy with construction engineering and management professor Bud Griffis of NYU Tandon School of Engineering.
