Microsoft's latest data on hacks and why you may need new login passwords fast
Associate Professor at NYU Tandon Justin Cappos gave advice on how users can better protect their information, starting with using a Password manager, which can be used to generate secure, random passwords.
“Passwords are like gum. People shouldn’t share,” remarked Cappos, explaining that it’s advisable to use an app such as Google Authenticator or a hardware token like a YubiKey, instead of SMS, whenever possible.
