Levon to serve on prestigious national peer review board

Kalle Levon has been appointed to the Biomaterials and Biointerfaces Study Section of the National Institutes of Health’s Center for Scientific Review for a four-year term beginning on July 1.

 

Levon, a professor of chemistry, was selected on the basis of his demonstrated competence and achievement as evidenced by the quality of his research accomplishments, publications in scientific journals and other significant scientific activities, achievements and honors.

 

The study section reviews grant applications in materials science and the closely allied field of materials surfaces, and their interactions with basic biological systems. It meets three times a year.
