Jay Henry Greene, 75, died early morning, October 8, 2017, in his home in Houston, Texas. … Jay was raised in Flatbush and attended Brooklyn Technical High School and Brooklyn Polytechnic University (now NYU Tandon School of Engineering). He graduated in 1964 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Upon graduation, he moved to California to work at North American Aviation. Less than a year later, he accepted a position with NASA at Johnson Space Center (formerly Manned Spacecraft Center) in Houston, Texas, and began a career in space administration that lasted nearly 40 years.
