How an NYU Tandon alumnus is growing the sustainable superfood spirulina
Jonas Guenther (2018), Michael Udovich (2018), and Daniel Bernstein (2018) co-founded We Are The New Farmers in the year of their graduation from NYU Tandon. They have focused their efforts on the production of the superfood spirulina.
Spirulina is not native to the United States, but its incredible nutrient density makes it too valuable a crop not to farm. Jonas Guenther explains the process to Washington Square News in this interview.
