How GM, Ford, Tesla are tackling the national EV charging challenge


Yury Dvorkin, assistant professor, expressed the importance of public charging infrastructures, which need to be high-wattage and multi-stall: “If you can buy a relatively cheap EV, the purchasing price is affordable to a vast number of people living in U.S. urban areas and the real limit for adoption is in fact access to public charging infrastructure,” explained Dvorkin.
