The future is coming tomorrow to Brooklyn

As President Eisenhower so sagely observed, “Things are more like they are now than they ever were before.”

But if you’re interested in looking ahead a bit, tomorrow’s your big chance.

From 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Brooklyn’s MetroTech Plaza will be turned over to Polytechnic Institute of New York University for the school’s first annual Research Expo.

Visitors can interact with robots (yes, you already do that at your job, but this is different), conjure what NYU-Poly calls an “instant augmented-reality experience” (at The Post, we call that Page Six) and check out energy-harvesting building materials and other gee-whiz stuff right around the corner.

The more intrepid may want to take advantage of the opportunity to “peer beneath the murky surface of the Gowanus Canal.”

Thanks, but we’re fine way back here.
