The e-bike revolution comes to the Bronx
Ph.D. candidate at NYU Tandon Suzana Duran Bernardes (C2SMART) has come up with a device that attaches to the downtube of the e-bikes that are being distributed by the Equitable Commute Project, aiming to make e-bikes more accessible and more affordable to people in low-income communities, reduce their dependence on cars, and ultimately, create more jobs in the green economy.
