David Miller gets NYU teaching gig

Former Toronto Mayor David Miller will soon be teaching at the engineering affiliate of New York University.

Miller on Tuesday was named Future of Cities Global Fellow by the Polytechnic Institute of New York University based in Brooklyn.

"I am very pleased to join NYU-Poly," Miller said in a statement.


Miller will be tasked with lecturing and developing programs that address the use of technology in urban settings.

The university lauded his work as former chair of the C40 climate leadership group during his time as Toronto mayor.
