A new report from Trail of Bits has revealed that the decentralized systems behind cryptocurrency might not be working as well as many crypto enthusiasts assume. Dan Guido, CEO of Trail of Bits, as well as a former member of the Osiris Lab, former Hacker-in-Residence and adjunct CSE prof, said “It's been taken for granted that the blockchain is immutable and decentralized, because the community says so,” but centralized power has emerged among major players.
