For the last five years, the Gowanus Dredgers Canoe Club has teamed with NYU’s Tandon School of Engineering to test and monitor pollution levels in the notoriously icky Gowanus Canal using floating robotic equipment. From 11am to 1pm, visitors can captain miniature boats and marine robots to assist in the research.
