Best and worst of times: how disruption will reshape work


Beth Noveck, a Professor in Technology, Culture and Society at New York University [Tandon School of Engineering] who has worked for the Obama administration in the US and the David Cameron UK government, told a forum on the Future of Work that disruption was potentially creating the best and worst of times. Data and artificial intelligence could create safer, more productive and efficient work. Jobs would not all disappear, and some could get better.
