The thought leader section of this issue contains a commentary from a good friend, and IMHO, the Stephen Hawking of the wireless industry, Ted Rappaport, of NYU [Tandon School of Engineering]. … NYU is among the top, if not the top, wireless research facility in the world. They have done extensive research in mmWave mobile communications. Much of it in the non-line of site (NLoS) segment, in deep urban environments. His missive is an eye opener and what gave the confidence to make some of the statement earlier in this column.
