Announcing the 2020 UCS Science Defenders
Every year, The Union of Concerned Scientists chooses a select few individuals to honor in their list of Science Defenders. Among the 2020 UCS Science Defenders is NYU Tandon's own Ingrid Paredes. A Ph.D. student in chemical engineering, Ingrid has been chosen by the UCS because of her tremendous efforts to bolster STEM students' participation in politics through the foundation of the March for Science NYC.
