The AI World Will Listen to These Women in 2018
… AI Now, a research institute at NYU’s Tandon School of Engineering, was officially launched this fall by Kate Crawford, a principal researcher at Microsoft Research, and Meredith Whittaker, a founder of Google Open Research. One of the group’s main focuses is to ensure that the engineers making AI algorithms are working closely with the people who will use them.
