Guide to Giving for Alumni and Friends

Annual Giving

Gifts to the annual fund provide immediate support to the Institute. By directing your gift to the annual fund to either the Polytechnic Fund, unrestricted funding that supports programs and facilities across the Institute, or the Promise Scholarship Fund, NYU-Poly’s largest scholarship initiative, you are making a positive impact on the lives of former, current and future students.

Annual gifts are essential to the financial health of a university, providing discretionary funding to support core Institute needs. By making your contribution, you are supporting the entire Polytechnic community.

Reunions

Gifts made during your reunion year provide crucial support to NYU-Poly. Milestone reunions, such as your 25th, 40th and 50th anniversary of graduation, are opportunities to reflect on how Poly helped prepare you for your professional career. Traditionally, reunion gifts support the Polytechnic Fund, but your class may decide to support a specific initiative within the school that has special meaning to you and your classmates.
