Securing Assessments with Respondus LockDown Browser and Monitor
How can you create and administer online assessments securely?
As instruction transitioned from remote to in-person, instructors have utilized various methods of assessment to evaluate student understanding. Respondus LockDown Browser and Monitor is a new proctoring tool that is integrated with NYU Brightspace Quizzes. LockDown Browser provides security by locking student computers from accessing other applications. Whereas, Monitor utilizes LockDown Browser with the addition of automated or live proctoring that helps ensure academic integrity from a remote location.
During this session, Professor Vikram Kapila of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, will be sharing his experience in utilizing NYU Brightspace Quizzes and Respondus LockDown Browser for creating and administering an in-person assessment.
Take advantage of this introductory session to learn about innovative assessment strategies that instructors are implementing at Tandon.
