Urban Food Lab First Annual Research Expo and Fundraiser
Urban Food Lab would like to invite you to their first-ever Fundraiser and Expo!
NYU's very own Vertically Integrated Projects vertical farming class, Urban Food Lab would like to invite you to see our student's innovative solutions to modern farming problems. Students from various departments throughout NYU have made cosmetics, started companies, and even composted plastics! Come see the multidisciplinary future of farming tech!
Urban Food Lab is located in the basement of NYU Tandon's Makerspace and is part of the VIP program at NYU. Vertically Integrated Project students from nine different departments at NYU are each conducting their own research on how to advance modern vertical farming technology and techniques all while working on the farm. Projects range from Farm-to-Pharmacy cosmetics and composting Styrofoam to building chemical testing robots. The class functions as an incubator for undergraduate students to explore new farm-tech under the guidance of graduate student mentors.
Join us for an evening of speakers, projects, and great food all while supporting an integral piece of the NYU community!
