The Green New Deal is a resolution passed by the House of Representatives that seeks to build a reformed US Economy, promote economic justice and social equality, and stimulate the economy by investing federal dollars in a de-carbonized infrastructure. We will examine the provisions and content of this bold new initiative, the problems and opposition that it might encounter, and the specific policy options for achieving its goals, as well as the historical tradition that it appeals to: the environmentalism of the original New Deal of the Roosevelt Administration.

Food will be served!
