On average, a woman is paid eighty-cents for every dollar paid to a man (AAUW, The Simple Truth Report, Fall 2018 Edition). This gap exists across all fields of work and all demographics.
For this reason, it is critical that women negotiate job offers, and this should start from the very first offer out of college.
Join the Women @ Tandon Professional Development subcommittee for an interactive workshop on tips and tactics for negotiating salary, Tuesday April 9 at 12pm at Wunsch Hall (2nd Floor). A light lunch will be served.
