Best Practices in Online Teaching

Academic

For NYU Community

With digital education becoming widespread, it is essential to understand how best to engage students when teaching online courses. This workhop will introduce some best practices for online teaching, including understanding online learners, strategies for active learning and peer-to-peer learning, creating a presence in your online community, overcoming student isolation, and facilitating group discussion. Faculty presenters will share examples of interactive course modules that illustrate these concepts. This workshop is especially geared for those who may be considering teaching online or in adding some interactive digital elements to their courses.

Lunch will be served!
