PREPARE FOR YOUR FUTURE
You are invited to join the NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering for a six-week, four credit summer course in Pre-Calculus (MA914). This course will cover the basic foundations of algebra.
MORE ABOUT PRE-CALCULUS
This course is designed for high school students who want to improve their Algebra I and II skill as well as their understanding of the fundamentals required for Calculus. Students will learn exponents, multiplication of algebraic expressions, factoring algebraic expressions, working with algebraic fractions, proportionality, rates of change, and more.
THE CURRICULUM
Classes begin Monday, July 7th and end on Friday, August, 15th. Classes meet Monday thru Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (Please note: we are offering a morning class and an afternoon class. Please be sure to sign up for the class that works best with your schedule.)
COSTS AND SCHOLARSHIPS

ADMISSION PROCESS
This course is offered as a part of the NYU Precollege program. Students interested in taking this course must apply to NYU Precollege. If admitted to the program, students may view the course information in the NYU Precollege course search, including instructions on how to apply to take Pre-Calculus by submitting a course application to the School of Engineering. Students approved to take the course will be registered in the course by the School of Engineering. Only students admitted to both NYU Precollege and to the course may be enrolled in the course.
