Marissa Mayer, the first female engineer hired at Google, will be speaking and receiving the NYU-Poly Spirit of Innovation Award on November 7th at noon in Pfizer Auditorium.
A billionaire before the age of 30, Mayer has been dubbed by Forbes magazine one of the 50 most powerful women in the world and has been responsible for several of Google's most innovative ventures, including Gmail and its location services.
