Alumni, students, parents, faculty and staff are encouraged to join NYU-Poly in giving back to our community by participating in New York Cares Day of Service 2011!
NY Cares Day is New York City's largest day of volunteer service. Volunteers paint colorful murals, refresh classrooms, organize libraries, and brighten up playgrounds at more than 100 public schools.
NYU-Poly alumni, students, parents, faculty and staff will be working together to make a difference, right here in Brooklyn. Spouses and older children (age 12 or over, everyone will be expected to pitch in!) are more than welcome. Please be prepared for a day of work, from moving boxes to painting walls, as our group could be assigned a large range of tasks.
This event is free of charge. Registration ends Tuesday, September 27th - Please sign up early!!
