Poly's own Dr. Nikhil Gupta will be in Detroit presenting at the 4th Annual Advanced Lightweight Materials Conference and will be hosting a casual networking dinner for Polytechnic Alumni!

Nikhil Gupta joined the NYU-Poly faculty in 2004 as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and was promoted to the rank of Associate Professor in 2010.
His research focuses on development of lightweight materials for automotive and armor applications. His group is also active in understanding high strain rate injury mechanisms that are relevant to victims of auto accidents and bomb blasts and using this knowledge to design safer materials.
