The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum is located among our national monuments to freedom on the National Mall in Washington, DC. The Museum provides a powerful lesson in the fragility of freedom and the need for vigilance in preserving democratic values.
It was constructed in the early 1990s by the Blake Construction Company, Inc., of which Stanley Prill ‘53 was president. His son, Adam, was the project manager and now heads Prill Construction Group, founded in 2000. Stanley and Adam will discuss the engineering challenges they faced and overcame in building this monument to freedom in our nation’s capital.
