CUSPxMOT: Urban Technology Management Knowledge Concentration

On Campus

The Center for Urban Science and Progress (CUSP) and the Management of Technology (MOT) program offer a joint knowledge concentration program. This unique collaboration provides an interdisciplinary approach combining urban science with technology management.

Enrollment and Eligibility:

Students pursuing the concentration must take 9 credits of the MOT/CUSP courses out of their 18-credit elective requirement. Those following this concentration will be allowed to enroll in non-CUSP classes for up to 9 credits instead of the standard 6 credits, as long as they are also enrolled in the selected MOT courses.

  • MG-GY 7703: Entrepreneurship
  • MG-GY 8673: Technology Strategy
  • MG-GY 8203: Project Management
  • MG-GY 9013: Design Thinking for Creative Problem Solving
  • MG-GY 8813/CUSP-GX 8813: Design for Innovation with AI & ML

Enrollment Instructions:

If you wish to enroll in any of these courses, please email your academic advisor and discuss your course and section preferences. It's important to note that seats are limited and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Once you are permitted a course, please commit to your enrollment and do not drop it, as this will delay progress for other CUSP peers to participate.
