Laboratory Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. U.S. E.S.T. In the future we will allow 24 hours a day, seven days a week access. Primary versus secondary users: Note that if no one is connected to the web page of a currently available experiment and you connect to that experiment then you become the primary user. The primary user can manipulate the controls. When an experiment is being used other users connecting to the same experiment page become secondary users. The secondary users can not control the experiment. Both the primary user and the secondary users can monitor the experiment (i.e., they can view the real-time experiment plots and 3D-animation). When a primary user leaves the web page of an experiment, a secondary user can become the primary user by reloading the experiment web page. Maximum Allowed Time Per Usage: After 10 minutes has elapse since the time you connected to an experiment page, you will be automatically brought back to the home page (irrespective of whether you are primary/secondary user). There will be no warning message when the web page reloads. If you wish to access the same experiment again, navigate to that experiment's web page. You are requested to observe this time limit, i.e., you must complete and stop the experiment within the allocated 10 minute period and then leave the experiment's web page. Also, note that after you start an experiment (i.e. clicking the "Start" button on the experiment's control panel) the experiment will automatically stop after a given time period. Each experiment has a different stop time period. You can restart the experiment from the same page if your allocated 10 minute period on the page has not expired. At any given time only few experiments may be available for remote monitoring and control. |
