Global Challenge: Sustainability in Urban Environments

The TGL abroad program will allow me to take my first step in developing cross-cultural connections and become socially conscious on a global scale.”

Bio:

I am from Baltimore, Maryland. During the spring semester of my freshman year, I was the Development Intern at the Broadway Mall Association. The summer after my freshman year I was the Communications Intern for Delegate Brooke Lierman. I participated in the Vertically Integrated Project, NYC Clean Fleet to help design and prototype technological innovations to help the NYC Fleet Division of the New York City Department of Citywide Administration (DCAS). I am passionate about environmental sustainability, prompting me to become an ECO Representative for the Clark and Othmer Residence Halls. In this position I created sustainability projects, advocated for improved sustainability measures, and educated my peers on sustainability. I love to travel, go on hikes, and shop for quirky clothes at my favorite thrift stores. A fun fact about me is that I bungee jumped off of the highest bridge bungee in the world, located in Western Cape, South Africa. Well, I did not exactly jump. I had to be pushed because I was crying out of sheer terror.
