Biography

Oded Nov is an Associate Professor of Technology Management and Innovation at NYU Tandon School of Engineering, who earned his Ph.D. from Cambridge University, MSc from London School of Economics, and undergraduate BA from Tel Aviv University. Nov’s extensive research has earned him 17 honors and grants, including Google’s Focused Research Award to study the behavior and interactions of social media users and a five-year, $4.6 million project funded by the National Science Foundation that will use sensors and citizens to monitor the everyday sounds of New York City.
