Kruthika | NYU Tandon School of Engineering

During my search for a suitable master’s program, I was looking for something that would not just improve my knowledge but also prepare me for the real world. The biotechnology program at NYU does just that. It is a program that will allow you to deepen your knowledge base, familiarize yourself with real-life biotech applications and build the foundation you will need.

The core courses especially Biotechnology and the Pharmaceutical Industry are extremely relevant and very useful. There are plenty of electives to choose from too. Advanced Cell & Molecular Biology, Immunology and Entrepreneurship were some of the electives that I found to be most enriching.

While pursuing a master’s degree, I had the opportunity to be a teaching assistant, an intern at the NYU incubator and a scientific data analyst at a science-based company, where I continued to work after graduating. Fresh out of undergrad, I was unsure about my future, but constant guidance from the professors and the education at NYU helped me create a true experience of a lifetime.
