NYU Veterans Future Lab: dedicated to veteran entrepreneurs around the country
In 2017, the Future Labs at New York University's Tandon School of Engineering turned its entrepreneurial enterprise to a new community: veterans. The 11-year-old start up network, a partnership born out of the school of engineering and initially funded by the city to kickstart New York's entrepreneurship ecosystem, launched an incubator dedicated to the underserved group of veteran and military spouse entrepreneurs. Now, the greater New York City area is the number one metro area for veteran entrepreneurs.
