Men's Tennis Advances to Semi-Finals

Flushing, NY -  The NYU-Poly men's tennis team made short order of visiting Bard College in the Skyline Quarterfinals Tuesday night at the USTA Tennis Center. The Jays out-manuevered the Raptors, sweeping doubles play and then won the furst two singles matches to call the match at 5-0.

Sophomore Yan Krasny (Far Rockaway, NY) won at 1st singles 6-0, 6-0 while Julian Wrede (New York, NY) won at 2nd singles 6-1, 6-0.  The doubles team of Krasny and Connor Doherty (San Leandro, CA) defeated their opponents 8-2, while Wrede and Anton Fyodorov (Brooklyn, NY) were victorious 8-2. In the final doubles contest Kyle Garingalao (Eatontown, NJ) and DJ Erraballi (Fremont, CA) won 8-3.

The Jays will travel to Farmingdale on Thursday for a Semi-final contest against the Rams. The match is set for 4:00pm with the winner advancing to play St. Joseph's College in the championships.
