Buzzard Named Pitcher of the Week

Clifton Park, NY - Polytechnic Institute of NYU senior pitcher Laura Buzzard (Warrington, PA) tossed a no-hitter in the first game to lead the Fighting Blue Jays to a Skyline sweep of Purchase. Buzzard, who struck out five and walked two, improved to 9-3 on the season. NYU-Poly has won 12 straight games and 16 of the last 17 overall.
