Polytechnic Institute of NYU’s commitment to provide its students an educational experience rooted in invention, innovation, and entrepreneurship (i2e) will be bolstered by a $1.9 million grant it has received from the U.S. Department of Education to establish a Faculty Innovations in Teaching and Learning Center (FITLC). The Center will enable Polytechnic students and faculty to utilize educational tools and resources that mirror their technologically-advanced coursework.
“The Center will drive vital hardware upgrades to our technology infrastructure, and will allow our faculty to best utilize that technology for the learning styles of today’s tech-savvy students,” says Dr. Iraj Kalkhoran, dean of undergraduate academics.
