Poly honors faculty and staff at 2008 Service Award Ceremony

Proud smiles, shining plaques and Tiffany boxes filled the stage of Polytechnic’s Pfizer Auditorium on April 22 during the university’s annual Service Award Ceremony.

Agata De Santis, Senior Human Resource Generalist, served as speaker of ceremonies for the event which recognized 40 staff and faculty members who have enriched the school with an astounding 780 years of combined service.

“We stand on the shoulders of giants,” said President Jerry M. Hultin who presented honorees with gifts and remarked on the importance of continuity to an organization.

Special honors were also given to professor emeriti, research professors, and other faculty members nominated by their department heads for enduring contributions to their fields and to Poly.
