NYU Engineering School Launches Startup Incubator for Military Veterans

Helping veterans transition to civilian life might be the program’s greatest benefit


Veterans make great startup leaders. At least, that’s the premise behind a free entrepreneurship training program for U.S. military veterans created by New York University’s Tandon School of Engineering. Last week, the effort expanded with the opening of a startup incubator for veterans. … The incubator space, dubbed the Veterans Future Lab and funded in part with a $1 million grant from the Empire State Development Corporation along with support from Barclays, would be the envy of any tech startup.
