NYU Tandon Professors to Build AI-based Navigation

Researchers led by Research Assistant Professor Yi Fang from NYU Abu Dhabi, and Associate Professor Edward K. Wong from NYU Tandon Department of Computer Science and Engineering, are creating a deep learning system which will allow autonomous cars to navigate, respond and maneuver in real-time by merging onboard sensor data with the navigation information available on the cloud-based HERE HD Live Map.
