Funding Alert: $50K for Making NYC Cleaner and Smarter

Pitch your cleantech startup to jurors from energy-industry giants.

NYU Tandon’s Urban Future Lab announced Wednesday two $25,000 cleantech prizes for early stage startups.
It’s called the Urban Future Competition and it’s designed to “draw leading cleantech startup companies to New York City,” according to the Urban Future Lab. “Startups with transformative business solutions for global urban energy and sustainability challenges will compete to pitch their solutions to a jury of investors, market partners, and successful entrepreneurs.”
There are two categories: Smart Grid and Smart Cities. One from each category will win the money and space in Urban Future Lab’s incubator, ACRE.
