The NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering Design Tinkering student club’s project to empower women in Nepal has been selected to the short list of Open IDEO’s challenge: How might we make low-income urban areas safer and more empowering for women and girls? See the Design Tinkering club’s entry, Community Concierge Program: Working together with an organization in Nepal, this project seeks to identify and train female leaders, who in turn provide information and guidance to other women in their community.
